Lyrics
Verse 1
First buds on the branchPink on your sleeveWe walked by the riverStill cold at the kneesPaper cups in our handsWe laughed through the chillEvery little blossomMade the whole world still
Pre‑Chorus
And the air went sweetWhen the trees let goFelt my heartbeat riseSlow, then slow
Chorus
Cherry blossom seasonPull me close againCherry blossom seasonWe were young in the rainHold me in the petalsLet the moment stayCherry blossom seasonDon’t let it drift away
Verse 2
Old bike by the fenceSkirt on the lineYour shoes in the grassMine full of shineKids on the pathReached up for the skyWe made a small promiseUnder passing light
Pre‑Chorus
And the ground turned pinkLike a secret signEvery falling petalSaid you’re still mine
Chorus
Cherry blossom seasonPull me close againCherry blossom seasonWe were young in the rainHold me in the petalsLet the moment stayCherry blossom seasonDon’t let it drift away
Bridge
When the branches bareAnd the days run thinI still find your laughIn the windOne more springOne more turnLet the soft pink fireBurn, burn, burn
Final Chorus
Cherry blossom seasonPull me close againCherry blossom seasonWe were young in the rainHold me in the petalsLet the moment stayCherry blossom seasonDon’t let it drift awayCherry blossom seasonStay a little moreCherry blossom seasonAt my open door
